We are excited to officially start off our Consulting Webinar series!

Leading up to each Webinar we will share interesting insights on Orders, Branded Search Traffic & Visibility for the respective category – this time we are taking a cleaner look at the category “Vacuum Cleaners”.

Wait, don’t stop reading just yet! We promise that these insights are a lot more interesting than the category itself might sound.

Did you know that about 1.6 million vacuum cleaners were ordered in the 1st half of 2021 on Amazon DE? Even if you are no sales expert, you will recognize that this is quite a lot.

According to Statista, 2020 & 2021 vacuum cleaner sales will be 20% – 30% higher than in 2019 – driven by COVID-19, making all of us stay at home more than usual and increasing the need to clean our homes more frequently.

What else do we know?

This year, sales in Q2 are below Q1 level, which is in line with consumers’ buying behavior in 2019. Compared to the 1st half of 2020, the category grew by about 30% due to the increase in online sales.
